Work Work Work

Can't say that the 11 hour work days are the worst thing in the world, but they're certainly tough on the body. Nevertheless, my Circle K work has continued to progress as we get closer and closer to International Convention. Probably the biggest item has been tying up loose ends all over the place. Making sure our governing documents are up to date and that all parties involved are aware of what has changed in the last year so that next year's board is working with accurate documents. Furthermore, I've also continued to work on CKInsiders so that the library is permanently etched into posterity in CKI. Future VP's and Executive Committees should continue this library if their time allows it.

For those of you who have registered for I-Con, thank you! I look forward to seeing all of you one final time before my CKI career comes to a close. For those of you not making it this year (yeah, I know the economy has been tough.) I hope our paths cross one more time! (Who knows?! VEGAS 2010 KI CONVENTION!!)

Most of my work in the last two months has been strictly behind the scenes. But I promise to keep on going until my last day as VP. It might be tiresome to have 630am to 530pm work days (door to door) but in the end ... it's my love for this organization that's kept me going for the past 5 years.

More updates to come. More work to be done. And more lives to be changed.
